Toni lives in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. She retired as the Christian County Cooperative Extension Agent 4-H Youth Development in 2010. She is currently a part time Christian County Adult Education Specialist. She loves the outdoors and considers herself a naturalist. She owns a small farm where she raises Boer goats. She has a large garden that provides many "foodie" opportunities. She is active in the community and her church.
Toni grew up on a tobacco and cattle farm in Northern Kentucky. She developed a love of story telling from family stories told around the kitchen table. She gained the love of writing and nature from her mother and the love of agriculture and the land from her father. She began writing and taking photos in elementary school for 4-H and Kentucky Young Historian projects.
Toni likes to paint a picture with words, to enable the reader to visualize the story even if photographs aren't included. She likes to think of her style as conversational and easy with a bit of southern charm.
