Toni is a freelance journalist, specializing in agriculture, nature and travel. Toni loves to discover, learn and truly believes there is no end to the adventure. She is interested not just in the scenic views put in the people, food, economy, - anything, which contributes to making a particular locale “special”. Whenever possible she travels the back roads to look for the backstory, the little things that are off the beaten path and often missed.
Toni can find a story anywhere, but especially when she talks to the waiter or the person at the counter. She likes to hear what they do and what they like about where they live and develop those conversations into an absorbing story about the little known corners of the world
With her upbringing grounded in agriculture, history, food and nature she loves to write in these genres. Whether it’s a sustainable brewery or a tidbit of local history, Toni’s writing can paint a picture of the location, through the eyes of the people who live there or a drive down a highway or a scenic overlook
There are millions of places that can be discovered on the way to somewhere else. Toni likes to find those places big and small and bring that story to readers who may or may not be able to ever go there, but who want to experience a new destination - a new adventure. She has extensively traveled in the continental United States, but has also been across the pond to the United Kingdom, Ireland and Italy. Anyone can write about New York City, but Toni will find that quaint French bakery, selling the croissants with a million buttery layers which melt in your mouth.
